IPSSA was formed in 1988 as a result of a merger between IPSA and Cal-IPSA. Those two organizations were a part of the original association founded in 1961 for the purpose of pool service technicians banning together to help each other in times of illness or disability

The Independent Pool and Spa Service Association is made up of self employed business people with an interest in providing the best  customer service and support for our fellow members.

 

Members have the advantage of ongoing education and association with the representatives of the manufacturers in our industry. Monthly meetings provide opportunities to discuss the current events and air any grievances that we may have.

A major benefit of belonging to IPSSA is the excellent insurance that is available at a group rate.
